Chennai Super Kings batters struggled to post a challenging total during its Indian Premier League 2025 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Friday.

The lowest total defended at this venue in the IPL is 126 runs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru defended this total against CSK during the 2008 season.

For the Super Kings, the lowest team total successfully defended is 134 runs which it managed against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2015. It’s next best came against Pune Warriors India when it defended 142 runs during the 2011 season.
