In 2008, Sachin Tendulkar played just seven matches in the inaugural IPL season, scoring 188 runs at a strike rate of 106. He managed to hit only one half-century during the tournament.

Sachin Tendulkar’s 2009 record looked a bit promising, as the maestro scored 364 runs in 13 matches, which included two half-centuries.

IPL 2010 turned out to be the best season of Sachin Tendulkar. The Mumbai Indians batter scored 618 runs in 15 matches, including five half-centuries, with an average of 48. Even though he won the Orange Cap that season, MI failed to lift the title, losing to CSK in the Final.

Sachin carried his 2010 form into the 2011 season, by scoring 553 runs and hitting the first-ever T20 century of his career.

IPL 2012 was the penultimate season of Sachin’s career, where he scored 324 runs in 13 matches, including two half-centuries.
